one of the best converters around and also it's a freeware....it's the main encoder to get the best quality videos for your mobiles,ipods and sometimes even for pcs....with the shortest possible size...some of the key features are that processing time is quite small and you can see the output size in advance some other benefits of this encoder are you can cut the portion you want to convert,plus one can change the resolution both maintaining or ignoring the aspect ratio...means great for widescreen laptops,sound optimizer lets you enhance sound of the output video as well,adjust the brightness,contrast saturation etc and you can also go for TWO Pas* processing which takes more time but will give better quality videos if you spend the extra time....it has only two negative points....one being it's not efficient in converting videos captured by TV TUNERS and it ll most of the time show a dvd VOB file to be 9 min or 10 min...but it can be rectified by renaming the VOB files to AVI.and then select the start and end position of the video and everythin shud be fine. *
